The Backyard Hit Club

The Backyard Hit Club was created, well, in my backyard.  I've been a baseball coach for 24 years, a ballplayer for 20 years and a father to a ballplayer. We're in the backyard everynight until the daylight is gone...hitting and hitting.

I decided that my passion for coaching and my love for helping youth find joy in something so hard to do was my next calling.  And so, the BackYard Hit Club was born.

My desire to coach and develop wasn't just about doing it in my own backyard.  I wanted everyone to have the opportunity to join the club in their own backyard and make memories just like us.

One of my favorite coaches of all time (my first acting agent) used to say this and I believe it 100% to be the key to succeeding at anything you do:

"Do today what others won't, so tomorrow, tomorrow you can do what others can't."
